Design Thinking Workshop

Practical and Fun program for school students to understand the design thinking concept!

What is Design Thinking workshop?

Design Thinking workshop takes the young participants through the design thinking process in an experiential and playful manner. Participants build an understanding of the "user's need" by engaging in empathetic interactions, creating and testing rapid prototypes, and building skills to solve any complex problem.

What do we do in the workshop?

Students pair up to develop a new product. Collaboratively they come up with a new solution that is “useful and meaningful". This activity leads students through a rapid, full-cycle of the design thinking process. The project is broken down into simple steps and the students are guided by the facilitator through the process. Participants get the feel for a user-centered design approach, develop a shared vocabulary, and get a quick taste of each design step.

Outcome of the workshop

This project helps students see the value of engaging with real people (customers) to help them solve a problem, the value of taking an iterative approach, while experiencing a bias towards action, as the project is fast-paced with a limited amount of time.
